Here are a few new products and redesigned products introduced to the market. Several new products implement more efficient design aspects, better overall appearance, or are designed to meet the most recent illumination guidelines. One of the newest developments in lighting products is the advanced use of LED lighting. LED lighting is extremely energy efficient and will certainly be the future of all lighting.
LED Lighting
LED lighting has made vast improvements from its first introduction into the lighting market. Initial offerings in LED were puck lights, step lights, under counter lights and rope lighting. Manufacturers now offer competitively technologically advanced downlights, landscape lighting, flood lights, as well as roadway and area luminaires. Matching or exceeding light output of incandescent or HID fixtures while using less energy and lower maintenance cost makes LED lighting extremely attractive to the future of the lighting industry.
Lightolier Vetro Decorative Family
The Vetro Family of fixtures uses European hand blown glass for smooth accent lighting. Pendants, wall sconces, and downlights are included in this new family of decorative luminaries. Clean lines, sharp edges, and seamless transitions define this elegant family of fixtures.
Lightolier
introduces the smallest aperture MR16 downlight family available with
specification grade performance. Fixture itself has a diameter of only
2-7/8". The new Evolution fixture utilizes the exclusive EZ-Aim gear driven
adjustment. This allows for hot aiming and adjusting with speed, and
accuracy. Choose this Evolution recessed fixture for a clean and unobtrusive
appearance upon installation.
Widelite Optra
The Wide-Lite Optra Area Luminaire is a forward thinking unique design in outdoor lighting. The streamlined design offers a lower EPA than a standard shoebox. But the efficient collimating optical lens offers unrivaled photometric performance over shoebox area luminaires. The Optical assembly also complies with IES full cutoff definition. Housing construction enables tool-less replamping access and a separate ballast housing for cooler operating and longer component life. The Optra is available in Asymmetric and symmetric patterns with the symmetric pattern providing excellent spacing to mounting height ratios with very low glare.
Illumivision LED lighting
Illumivision presents a new LED flood light to the market. The Lightwave LX is a compact wall-washing flood light. It generates rich uniform colors and offers color changing effects. Useful in applications that require large wall washing or long throw capabilities. Containing thirty-six intense LEDs with a unique lens design it produces an intense flood of light available in four different beam spreads. Fixture is IP66 rated for outdoor use and has flexible fixture positioning.
If your application calls for a tighter beam pattern for spot lighting Illumivision offers the Light Wave Mini. Fixture contains seven intense LEDs for directed spot lighting and wall washing. The Light Wave Mini is also IP 66 rated for indoor or outdoor use. It can also be specially built for installations requiring submersible or in-ground specifications.
